Google Maps has many useful tools, and one of the most underrated features is real-time location sharing. Google has now redesigned the design for this feature in the Android app. The update is available on the server side.
Google Maps Update for Android gives you a clearer picture of location sharing. The new look is a bit more modern. It adds a floating "Share" action button and, below, displays users with whom you share your location. Previously, all this information was displayed at the top of the screen.
Exchange menu has also been updated, including the title text and options bar. By default, you share your location "for 1 hour", but when you press this button you can see two options, including the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the time. This section also displays the "until you turn off" option. Google also shows a privacy shortcut so users can see what information they're sharing.
